KOVA CoreFor law firms, advisory and professional teams
Confidential work, organised around the matter.
KOVA Core gives every matter, mandate and project its own controlled room, with the right people, the relevant files and clear responsibility.

01The challenge
Confidential work rarely stays in one place.
A single mandate can involve partners, associates and several teams, each using their own channels. Information that should be kept apart ends up side by side, and the history of the matter becomes difficult to reconstruct.
02How KOVA Core helps
A defined room for every matter.
- 01
One room per matter.
Conversations, files and decisions for a mandate sit together, separate from every other matter.
- 02
Separate visibility.
Team members see the matters they belong to.
- 03
Controlled collaboration.
Work on a matter happens within a defined circle of participants.
- 04
Clear responsibility.
Key steps and decisions stay connected to the discussion, files and people behind them.
03In the product today
What a KOVA room provides.
The following capabilities are part of the current KOVA product. How they apply to your organisation is covered in a private briefing.
Rooms with defined membership.
Each room has its own participants. Members and open invitations are shown separately.
Room leads and participants.
Room leads invite participants, withdraw invitations and remove members.
Time-limited access.
Access to a room can be granted for a set period. When the period ends, membership ends without manual follow-up.
Room time lens.
Mark a message as a decision, reason, task, open point, deadline or commitment, arranged as past, now and ahead.
Structured decisions.
Record a decision with its rationale, the responsible party, linked messages and a status history.
The KOVA octopus.
Press and hold at the message field to open the room's tools: time lens, files, search, room information and people.
04Rooms in practice
Rooms a firm might open.
- 01
Matter room.
One room per mandate, with the partners and associates working on it and the files that belong to it.
- 02
Transaction workstreams.
A separate room for each workstream, with the lead partner as a member of every one.
- 03
Internal review.
A closed room for a sensitive internal matter, with a deliberately small membership.
05Illustrative scenario
A cross-border transaction.
A firm advises on an acquisition with teams in three offices. Each workstream has its own room, and team members work only in the workstreams they belong to. The lead partner is a member of each workstream room.
