KOVA

KOVA SovereignFor healthcare, critical operations, defence and government

Accountable collaboration for organisations with particular requirements.

KOVA Sovereign is for organisations whose operating requirements need individual assessment. Licence scope, implementation and support are agreed individually.

01The challenge

Some organisations cannot accept a default.

Hospitals, operators of essential services and public institutions often face requirements that go beyond commercial norms, from operation and continuity to accountability and procurement. General-purpose tools are rarely designed with these constraints in mind.

02How KOVA Sovereign helps

Shaped around your requirements.

  • 01

    Individual assessment.

Deployment is assessed against each organisation’s operational and regulatory requirements before anything is agreed.

  • 02

    Structured coordination in dedicated rooms.

Each topic has its own room with a defined membership.

  • 03

    Assigned roles.

KOVA supports clearly assigned owners and roles in access-enabled rooms.

  • 04

    Agreed implementation.

Implementation scope is defined with each organisation.

03In the product today

What a KOVA room provides.

The following capabilities are part of the current KOVA product. How they apply to your organisation is covered in a private briefing.

  • Rooms with defined membership.

Each room has its own participants. Members and open invitations are shown separately.

  • Room leads and participants.

Room leads invite participants, withdraw invitations and remove members.

  • Time-limited access.

Access to a room can be granted for a set period. When the period ends, membership ends without manual follow-up.

  • Room time lens.

Mark a message as a decision, reason, task, open point, deadline or commitment, arranged as past, now and ahead.

  • Structured decisions.

Record a decision with its rationale, the responsible party, linked messages and a status history.

  • The KOVA octopus.

Press and hold at the message field to open the room's tools: time lens, files, search, room information and people.

04Rooms in practice

Rooms for demanding situations.

  • 01

    Hospital operations team.

Open operational issues, decisions and responsibilities, with no patient data, kept in one room across shifts.

  • 02

    Infrastructure disruption.

Confirmed and unconfirmed information, responsibilities and decisions in one room. KOVA does not replace operational control systems; it supports the human coordination around them.

  • 03

    Coordination group.

A room for a defined coordination group across public bodies, with deliberate membership and assigned roles.

05Illustrative scenario

A shift change in hospital operations.

In a hospital's operations management team, open operational issues, decisions and responsibilities, with no patient data, are kept in a shared room. This is an illustrative scenario, not a dedicated product function. At shift change, the incoming lead starts from a clearly assigned picture instead of relying on verbal handover alone.

06Environments

Where KOVA Sovereign is considered.

    • Hospitals and health systems. Internal operational coordination across departments and sites, within the organisation's own governance. KOVA is not positioned as a system for patient data. Any use that could involve health data or other sensitive data is first assessed against the organisation's operational, data-protection and regulatory requirements.

    • Critical infrastructure. Structured operational communication for operators of essential services.

    • Public safety. Accountable coordination between roles and organisational units.

    • Defence and government. Collaboration for public institutions with particular requirements for control and accountability.

  • Where would KOVA Sovereign run?

The operating model is assessed and agreed for each organisation. This website makes no statement about hosting or deployment locations.
