About KOVA

  • What is KOVA?

KOVA is a controlled environment for communication and decisions in organisations whose collaboration has consequences. It brings conversations, files, decisions and responsibility together in dedicated rooms with defined membership.

  • How is KOVA different from a messenger or team chat?

Messengers and team chat are organised chronologically: message follows message. KOVA is organised around rooms with a purpose, participants and roles, and a message can be marked as a decision, reason, task, open point, deadline or commitment. The question shifts from what was written last to what has been decided and who acts next.

  • Is any single KOVA feature unique?

No, and we do not claim that. Messaging, data rooms and task tools already exist. What sets KOVA apart is that it keeps the connection between communication, information, decisions, responsibility and time within one room.

  • Does KOVA replace our existing systems?

KOVA is not presented as a replacement for existing systems. An organisation can start with a single, clearly defined room: a mandate, a crisis team, a board programme or an internal review.

  • Why an octopus?

Its arms stand for the elements of a room's context. In the product, pressing and holding the octopus at the message field opens the room's tools, so a person decides what a piece of content means in the room instead of simply attaching it.

02

Who it is for

  • Which organisations is KOVA designed for?

Law firms and advisory practices, global enterprises, hospitals and health systems, aerospace and advanced industry, operators of critical infrastructure, defence and national security institutions, government bodies and diplomatic services. Whether KOVA fits a specific organisation is always assessed individually.

  • Can KOVA be used in hospitals?

KOVA supports internal operational coordination, for example in a hospital's operations management or crisis team. It is not positioned as a system for patient data, and any use involving sensitive data is assessed first.

  • Is KOVA suitable for classified communication?

KOVA does not claim suitability for classified communication. Any such use would require a dedicated architecture, accreditation and independent assessment.

  • Do you name customers or partners?

No. This website does not name customers, partners or public authorities.

03

Trust and operation

  • Is KOVA certified?

This website makes no statements about certifications. Questions about operation, hosting and data handling are addressed in each organisation's individual assessment.

  • Where can we learn about KOVA's technical architecture?

We only publish statements we can support. Technical details are discussed in a private briefing and reviewed as part of the assessment.

  • How do you decide what to say about the product?

We distinguish between what is implemented in the product, what has been independently verified and what is planned. This website describes only implemented capabilities as product functions.

  • Does KOVA rate or monitor employees?

No. KOVA makes visible what is open, who is responsible and what has been decided. It is not designed to score individual people.

04

Licensing

  • How is KOVA licensed?

Under multi-year organisational licences. Licence scope, implementation, operating model and support are agreed with each organisation.

  • What does KOVA cost?

KOVA Core: From USD 72,000 / year. KOVA Enterprise: From USD 110,000 / year. KOVA Sovereign: From USD 350,000 / year. Final licence scope, commercial terms and implementation are agreed in a private briefing.

  • Can KOVA be bought online?

No. Every engagement starts with a private briefing and an individual licensing and implementation process.

  • What happens in a private briefing?

A confidential conversation about your organisation, your operating environment and what you need a controlled room to do. It is not a generic product demo.
